My first trip to see Ice Speedway and my first time in Sanok. We met our Dutch friends at the airport and together we drove the looooong, traffic ridden drive to Sanok. We headed straight to the stadium to make the start of the race.
Sherif being the owner of the http://www.icespeedway.co.uk/, we were able to watch the race as press, given our press passes, we could enter the riders pits and the press interviews at the end of the races.

We didn't show you too much of the wooden churches we saw in Slovakia. They were beautiful though, quite different from the ones in Romania, therefore different in another way.
And guess what: at the other side of the border, here inn Poland, perhaps 100 kilometers away, they have them too! And also here, they cherish them, restore them, get them UNESCO protected, create tourist routes past them. And also here, we visit ...

What came next was landing in Poznan, night train to Wroclaw to meet my brother and, ultimately, another train back home. Meanwhile I was emailed by my roommie that she's moving to another village and therefore, considering the price of rent, I became homeless in Spain. Well, too bad...
