          ... up and start to ache again. This was not a good portent for the week ahead. I had hoped my knee would be better. I decided to wear all the best stuff on the first day's walk, just in case there wasn't a second.

          Back at the ranch, Reina, Lieve and Suzanne were arriving. It was great to see them again, and we picked up where we had left off, laughing and chatting over more of Marianne's wonderful cooking, whilst sitting outside in the garden.

          ... Carnival goes for four days plus preparation!
