    Back at the house, I met the other walkers as they arrived. Reine, my room-mate, was a very positive woman, who often laughed until the tears ran from her eyes. Suzanne and Lieve came from Brussels and had a great sense of humour too. Lieve is walking the Compostella to Portugal and looking for a man on the way. Susanne was a nurse, who didn't like early mornings, but who managed them anyway.
