... Germany destroy Brazil and then Argentina sneak a win in penalties. Argentina vs holland was a good game because there is a large holland community here and all Guatemalans now go for Argentina, I was 90% sure there would be riots after as things got very heated during the penalties. It's now Friday and I'm in a buss with 7 others heading to the beach. I nearly forgot mums birthday but then realised I technically still have a day... I think I made it up with the photo attached. Adios ...

After we left the cave we headed down to a rope swing out to the river. I had a go on the swing and came off it sideways giving myself a solid flop on to the belly. Had to suck it up in front of the group but inside it was hurting...we also stopped for people to jump off a rickety bridge. ... We found the sign for mirador... Which is the lookout. I looked up the path am it looked steep. So we had been told to do the walk up to the mirador first and then swim in the pools. We were also told it was 40 minutes up and 40 minutes back. Which meant my heart was beating fast just thinking about the effort I was about to put in. Holly on the other hand is a qualified scrambler and seasoned hiker.... But I think we were about to find out.... And I believe I may have ...

... rain. Luckily it was just enough time to get some amazing photos before packing it up and heading down to swim in the pools. It is a crazy natural landscape. The pool system is actually a limestone bridge over the river that runs underneath it for a few hundred meters. The cool thing is that the pools are fed by mountain springs. So the river is an ugly gray color and the pools are a crystal blue. Our guide told us that a few weeks before we were there, the river was ...
