Breakfast on Monday was a choice of English or Chinese. We had a complete role reversal as I chose English (bacon, fried eggs, hash browns, baked beans, toast and orange juice) whilst Keith chose Chinese (tasteless rice porridge, dumpling like bread and a hard boiled egg). The Chinese proprietress told him that he wouldn’t like it and she was right.
