Arrived around 10 am - very fortunate rooms available so able to shower and clean up. Car in basement garage ideal for working on dynamo. Took cover off dynamo and cleaned commutator then attempted to adjust 3rd brush. Unable to move it eventually gave up and removed battery - after a struggle, have to remove baseplate of holder first - and took it upstairs to charge. When connected to charger showed ...

After a fab sleep on the boat we spent the day and morning chilling and catching up on homework ect. Then at 5pm we arrived in Spain. It was raining a tad, this didnt help with driving on the right side of the road for the 1st time. After about 2 hrs we arrived late to our campsite. From here we walked 2km to the Cueva de Altamira, the home of Spain's finest prehistoric art, discovered in 1879 by Cantabrian historian and scientist Marcelino Sanz de Sautuola and his young daughter. ... cabins, we set sail heading for Plymouth. We had a much calmer crossing thankfully so it was nice to be out on deck and watch the world go bye.

The final leg of our travels involved a great stop over in Portishead to meet up with family before the long drive north back to Edinburgh.

We have the Edinburgh Festival to look forward to but then we must get back to work!
