The trains also run on time, always, the train stations are like airports where you wait in a large lounge area before being allowed onto the platform to board the train, and the train leaves exactly when it is meant to and arrives exactly when it is meant to also, incredible.

... visiting the complex we met up with my family and the impossible task of finding a taxi back to hotel began. Being a Saturday it was total chaos trying to find a taxi. When we did find one almost none of them wanted to take us to our hotel without charging a huge premium due to the amount of traffic getting back to the city. ... pagoda was rebuilt in 1999 and features escalators to the top and elevators that take you to the top. The new pagoda was built on top of the original foundations which they pressured and we are able to see them before going up.

Next up was a well deserved beak and dinner at a restaurant right next to the pagoda which turned out quite nice. The food was excellent and despite ordering 11 dishes we did not have any left overs!

... memorandum of understanding between our schools with Principal Rose. This is a formal ceremony where both principals sign an agreed understanding to continue our sister school relationship and exchange gifts.

Later in the afternoon after school had finished we met our host student and then it was off to spend the weekend with our host families.
