... this lifestyle for only so long and I marvel at Him. Look at the echo of His voice ("Let there be...") as creation praises Him, as the aspens and cottonwoods applaud... This wonder and awe is inspired by just the stuff right in my own American backyard. The world out there holds even more. I should sleep. I have an unusual and new route planned for tomorrow. I'm hoping to get one more moose before I get home. Then I fix the van, take care of my house, see my parents, and do some ...

... having dinner with them on our rush home. We spent the day exploring Aspen and finding a few good restaurants to try. We tried to drive out to Marroon Bells but it was buses only and we didn't want to leave Duke for that long a time. We did manage brunch at BB's and dinner at Rustique. And Duke got to run around a park in downtown Aspen with a lot of other pampered ...

Beautiful canyon, very different from the canyons we've been seeing in Arizona and Utah. Awesome place for our first night in Colorado, the spring snow melt was in full swing so the river was raging. From high above at the lookouts you could here the river below, it sounded like a constant roar of thunder. Watched a beautiful sunset and Laurie got some fantastic ...
