... queued to boost our good luck even further with photo with Juliette. Dad took the kids through the Museum and up to Juliette’s balcony where they photo bombed a Bride reaching out of the balcony down to her Groom in the courtyard below.
Out to the Piazza for a lazy pizza lunch in the sun before we Max and went Gelato hunting and the girls went shopping. Love these espresso bars, a standing shot in the street as you wander around - fantastic!

... the graffiti on the walls and love messages on padlocks and in the Letter's to Juliet postbox was beautiful - I has goosebumps! Anyhow we added a K&P to the wall, as did the girls (although I don't know what they wrote!?). We wandered through the town, busy with tourists and headed home just as the heavens opened. We stopped at nice little pizzeria for tea & got out the maps & camping books to see where to go ...

... spin on climate change, but stuff is happening all over Europe. Any way we waited for a while under umbrellas and in our ponchos, but in the end, we had to leave just after half time. For now the Aida drama had to wait. But outside in Piazza Bra a different drama had been unfolding on the TV sets tuned to the World Cup. 'Mamma mia!' We were very uncertain about the weather as we set off to pick up our yatch. The drive along the lake was very pretty and we arrived at the port around 10.00am and it was quite windy.... The staff told us that this was normal and in an hour it would be calm....
