      ... by bus to pick up the x-ray disc. This was surprisingly easy. There seem to be no counters beyond the front entrance to the hospital, so one just wanders around and grabs anyone with an ID badge and gabble about Mio Madre and her broken arm and wave the paperwork. Eventually somebody went and got somebody who went and got somebody else and they disappeared for a while and bought the disc. An interesting experience.

      Day 274 1 hr, 1 km With the steep, wooded mountainside to my left and a valley that is quickly narrowing to my right it's only a few hundred meters and I'm in the next town, Messe.
