There isn’t much to report from yesterday. It was basically a rest day that involved wandering around Morbegno’s streets as well as running a few personal errands.

Dinner was with Marina’s cousins again for more magnificent home-made food. This time it was some succulent turkey & chicken with chips, followed by bread, cheese & salami, and then a home-made tira misu. This was of course followed by a healthy serving ...

... to the main piazza (square). Here are all the main amenities - school, two shops, hairdresser, doctors etc. this is about the same distance above the main road as our apartment is below. They were lovely with an amazing array of plants from all over the world and the unexpected bonus was that the Villa was open for viewing. In the literature that Roger had seen the villa was only open for ...

My personal fave is the yellow Miura SV not exactly my choice of colour but what a thing! The worlds first supercar & can you imagine the effect of seeing that when it first appeared in 1966! ...

We were up earlier than usual at 7: 00 a.m. to take a metro to the Milano Central Station to catch the train to Lake Como. We took the 9: 10 a.m. train from Central Milano station to Como S. Giovanni which is one of three stations in Como. The trip takes about 50 minutes from station to station. We arrived at the train station and purchased our 1.5 euro ticket for the No. 4 Bus at the train station which takes you near the pier to ...
