... the Gothic Santo Domingo church and the beautiful Renaissance Basilica de Santa Maria. The latter was a very busy operation and obviously keeping up with the times. I had to chuckle at a sign on the notice board inside outlying how parishioners could keep up with church events through their website, Facebook, Blogspot, and even Twitter! I had a delicious lunch in the pretty Praza da Lena, which in days gone by was the old firewood ...

It was time for another of the Big Bads - Finisterre, so named because it was the westernmost point of the known world (at the time, obviously), on the Costa del Morte, which has a bad enough reputation to have earned the dramatic name.

... of the day was spent in the sun and wind surfing. By dinner I was really exhausted, but in a good way. We also had a little leak under the sink, so Eduardo and Jessica had to come and make a quick fix. It rained in the evening so no walks this evening. Spent time packing and watching a little tv. Alyssa figured out how to change the language so we could watch American TV in English... A really nice treat! Tomorrow we head back to ...
