    ... imagine and more, including a real maze of winding alleyways. Luckily, we had no problems finding our accommodation, and Amina was waiting to meet us. She didn’t speak English, but happily showed us to our big room and around the rest of the apartment. Just be aware of some restaurants charging by the weight (and explaining so in some odd nomenclature and tiny explanations at the bottom of the page). My mom and I were sadly ripped off this way when she ordered some pasta that wasn't clear that we would pay by weight, etc. Just be careful to make sure you know exactly what you're paying for!     This morning we paddle-boarded the canals. We at the Piazza San Marco and picked up the paddle-boards. This was an awesome experience. We weaved through both peaceful and very busy canals of the beautiful city beside the gondolas and motorboats. Jenna didn't fall in, unfortunately, but swimming is strictly forbidden in the city which put a bit of pressure on the experience. After our adventure, we returned to eat a nice lunch at ...
