Managed to navigate the Vaporetto to the Piazza Le Roma, and picked up the No.5 aero bus almost straight away. The flight was uneventful, flying over the Alps, the France and then London, before flying up the island to Yorkshire. Clearing customs would have been a non-event if it weren't for two things. We had to approach the customs desk twice because no-one told us we had to fill in an arrival form and had to go away and ...

... the Grand Canal and then back through the S. Stae canals to our starting point. He was amazing, we had commentary the whole way and he sang for us as well. It was our highlight of Venice.

After the gondola ride we went for a walk through Ca' d'Ora as the sun set and did a bit of people watching. We stayed in for dinner and all enjoyed our purchases from Bila along with some bier and vino russo. All is good.

Today we woke up early and headed to a cafe with wifi for breakfast. The Internet is out at our hotel and I needed to check on flights home, since our trip is coming to an end :( After getting all that figured out we spent the rest of the day getting lost. This may sound odd to some people but I ...
