    ... to the lakeside town. It continues to rain as we drive. The steep sides of the hillside/mountains are carpeted with trees and shrubs where it is too steep to clear for grazing sheep or growing grapes. The lower slopes are farmed and habitated. What is amazing to see is the volume of water run down the natural lower depressions in the rock to form very fast flowing creeks.
