    ... beach on the Atlantic. We lucked into sunshine and warm fall air. We spent the afternoon and evening in Santillana del Mar, an authentic medieval town with winding cobblestones and half-timbered buildings. Our hotel was a stone-walled collection of slanted floors, odd furniture and creepy old paintings, right out of a movie set.

    ... Navarette about 8km from Logrono. By 9 we were only on outskirts, through that big park area and the sun was setting.     ... we made a horrible discovery. There was a goat corpse drying out in the sun which explained the awful smell that we could smell from time to time. Needless to say that after such a grotty discovery all of us decided to swim back to the rib quicker than ever! The end of the afternoon was spent on the beach then we went to Church and then to a nice restaurant.
