#18 Buena Vista St San Ignacio, Cayo, Belize, 011-501-824-2034
Adam and I were picked up at our hotel at 9AM for our inner tube excursion. After 90 minute hike through the jungle, we arrived at a cave entrance that was filled with a pool of water. We hopped in our inner tubes and floated through the cave sometimes in the complete darkness and other times out in the open and in a crystal blue lagoon surrounded by jungle. At one point, we were able to jump off a cliff (about 10 feet) into the lagoon. It was an excellent trip The next day we did another exc...

... and I were
COVERED with bedbug bites. I guess the lesson learned here is that
you get what you pay for and we couldn’t really complain after only
paying $3 a night for our humble abode.
Back to our favourite restaurant, the
bartender told us of a little known spot where we could swim for the
day and off we went. We spent the entire day on this gorgeous little
thatch roofed pier, swimming, reading and generally doing a whole lot

... I was just vegging out in front of the TV, I was actually living like a Belizean and engaging in true anthropological research. Plus, 90210 is awesome, I totally forgot what a great show that was!
Lat** I went with Talia to the int**net cafe to update my Facebook and send a few messages. 106 emails in my inbox (sev**al saying I won money in *****ia... but some w**e legit...) I forgot what it was like to not be connected to the 'outside world'. I'm ...
... for the evening with private bath, fan and even hot water. What luxury after the cold showers of the past 4 days. We couldn´t decide what to do in this town and went online at the Internet Cafe across from Eva´s Restaurant for some research. It was the fastest and most reliable connection I´ve seen yet in all of Mexico or Guatemala. We scoured the Web and landed on Caves Branch´s website. Indecision settled we´ll head out first thing in the morning for one of their tours ...
San Ignacio, Belize tipperoonie... of colorado. We haven't decided exactly what to do tomorrow morning, maybe the botanical gardens or the butterfly farm...but then we head to Tikal, the really big famous mayan ruin. We're goign to try to stay in the park so that we can watch the ruins. We're all safe and happy, and everything seems to be going nicely. Dinner is here now, so I should head. Bye!
San Ignacio, Belize mferri3... or at least the comforters) were treated with pesticide. The food was excellent, athough the dinner menu was quite expensive. Dinner choices were different almost every night, but somewhat limited.
The lodge offers a number of local activities as well as guided excursions around the countryside and beyond. We decided to acclimate for a day before heading for Caracol, one of Belize's best-known Mayan ruin sites. www.chaacreek.com.
... most curious and asked thousands of questions. You can see her in one of these photos standing with a plate in hand waiting for a hamburger. The 10th of September was a national holiday in Belize. This day is marks the battle of St. George where the British kicked the Spaniards butt and out of Belize. We went into town for the parade, which was really short and uneventful. We headed home for a marshmallows roast by the creek along with night a bath in ...
San Ignacio, Belize maaske... they do) andessentially break at the zip and fall off. Arg! But only on one leg. So yes, I did much of the caves wearing one leg short, one leg cropped. I looked HOT (literally too, remember) Anywho, after about ooh 2-and-a-half-hours underground we get a choice; to wonderland or not. A more impressive part of the cave requiring about another 45mins of climbing (there, and then back, and then the hour exit). I figure: why not! I´m enjoying the climbing, regardless ...
San Ignacio, Belize fiwarrander... Crystal Paradise and the San Ignacio area in general, it will be at a different time of year. We checked out of our room in advance and then met up with Andy, another of the Tut brothers, in the parking lot, where he had already saddled up some horses for our horseback ride through Cristo Rey. Andy rode Whiskey, who was a handful, Erinn rode Blanco, who was very easy going, and neither of us can remember of the ...

We had a sandwich each, a Guatemalan apple juice box, 2 packages of cookies, and packaged cereal bars. It wasn't particularly good, but was still better than we had expected and was definitely adequate. After lunch, we were told the "restrooms" were the woods. If they needed to, women went ...
