I've been five days in Italy as I type this on a train north to Bologna from Ancona. On my right I’m presented with uninterrupted views of the Adriatic Sea, with the tracks laid behind miles and miles of sandy beach. ... Pocket Earth app I have been using has been extremely helpful. I had gotten it just before leaving on our trip and didn't have time to experiment with it, but during the trip I have learned how to use it. It has saved us from being lost a few times. There are so many little streets in Venice, it helped us find our way back to the train station.
