We then caught our connection, choosing the slow all stops vaporetto. It wasn't too crowded so were able to have a spot at the rail and just watch all the activity along the canal and shoreline. A very busy place, with the vaporettos at times queuing up for their turn at the wharf.

So, we took or original plan to spend the day visiting a small town north of Venice and said....No Way!
Instead, we played games all morning, and then swam most of the afternoon. It was so nice to see him just relax and have fun ...
