Hi all, we woke to another foggy morning in Venice. After disembarking from the ship we found our way to the train station. Stairs and bumpy road ways were causing a bit of frustration for all of us trying to wheel our luggage along and a few choice words may have been said. We caught the train to turin which took approximately four hours. Found our way to the ...

Started another blog. Thought 13 deserved one all to itself. On the train. Bugger. Forgot to buy lunch. It's only 11.05am. ( But I did miss 2nd Breakfast.) The train does arrive in the Cinque Terre at 2.20pm. There is an 11 minute stop for train changing at Sestri Levante at 1.35pm. But doubt I can fit a food stop in there. ...

Hello. Up at 7.30am. Breakfast. Last look at the wonderful long pedestrian street right next to my hotel. I bought quite a bit along there. Little things.... That fit in my case. The girls in Reception are lovely. Now, Amanda and Meagan.... Don't read the next bit. OK? I bought another case. Yep. Turns out that I am not one of those people who can travel with a back pack. Now, I might have been. But, the Italian Post System let me down. Badly. ...

It's 1.24am. Now, you can either wish you had chocolate in the early evening... And chastise yourself because you forgot to buy some. Or You can buy chocolate... Eat it. And then not sleep. Chocolate keeps me awake. I know this. If I was home, I would be wandering the corridors. Can't really do that here. I have walked miles and miles today. ( Not to mention 'queueing'.) I should be asleep. I bet I sleep well tomorrow night. Sea air and all that. And, I don't think I'll buy ...

... are fun. Long streets, lined with shops. Had a bit of fun there. Lots of fun actually. Remember ... One case = small things. I walked all day. Got back to the hotel about 4pm. Didn't think I could eat. Sorted out gear for moving on tomorrow. And promptly went across the street to the same restaurant as last night. " Meat...give me meat. Anything but ham and cheese." I had chicken. That will do. Lovely meal. Very friendly people. It's 7.45pm now. Funny how the ...
