Sam and I woke up and had some brekky before going straight back to sleep until it was time to check out. We have had so many nights out in concession lately that we just needed more rest.
We went over to Dona Vera's place to see Alex and Jess's family one last time. Alex and Jess had some stuff to do, so while they were out Sam and I walked to the bus station to get our bus tickets for tonight. We were off to Rio de Janeiro!

We came back and needed a nap so we wasted a bit of the afternoon before organizing one last night out with the few people that remained in town. Today is the day! Tim and I met up in the hotel lobby and headed off to hotel where Alex was staying after we chilled out a bit in the morning. When we got there Alex was waiting for us with a big smile and not even the slightest amount of nerves.
