Last Two Days
Yesterday and today has been wet, windy, and cold -- thunder and lightening yesterday -- so not much walking about or touristing. It is currently 3 Farenheit (48 degrees) ... Brrr. Saturday.... Let's pick more olives! Okay... I've had my fill of olive picking, and am happy to say today was it. We worked a neighbor's grove. More and More Olives
... at seeing the olives turn into exquisite tasting oil. There is lots of chit chat -- in Italian, of course -- then fresh baked crackers and red wine are served by the owners! The community spirit is unbelievable! The day ended with a late dinner -- a delicious meal of carbonera and salad prepared by Lisa, served with a very nice Prosecco. Happy Thanksgiving ...
