After checking into our hotel "Days Inn" we quickly showered and changed to hit the town! We went to the Gaslamp District for dinner and drinks. Dinner was at Fred's Mexican Restaurant which was so good- check out my salad pic!

... we saw most of them. We started with a guided bus tour that took us through about 75% of the park. Next we travelled on the Skyfari Aerial Tram to the far side of the park and then we worked our way toward the front of the park. After six hours of walking we saw insects, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals from all the continents. Our favorites were the orangutans, polar bears, giraffes, and panda bears.
