The numerous climbs were long and gradual, and I felt like Jan Ulrich, as we climbed all day in the big gear. We celebrated our state line crossing with margaritas and a toast to our accomplishments before enjoying a delicious dinner of salad, tortellini, meatballs, sauce, and fresh bread.
