A week in San Diego
... they were only serving fruit! No French fries, no burgers, just cups of fresh fruit. After a couple hours of shopping in the 30C heat we decided to go to a Wal-Mart to get a few groceries and other things we needed. We were there only a few moments when we realized that the muzac was playing Christmas carols: Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. Oh dear. We also noticed that all the signage was in English and Spanish. Too be expected I guess but still a surprise.

... is an interesting shopping area over 90,000 square feet. It is located at downtown San Diego on West Harbor Drive and Pacific Highway. It has cobblestone pathways bordered by ponds, lakes, fountains and lush landscapes. Along the San Diego Bay there is a quarter mile boardwalk. There are lots of restaurants and cafes, and specialty shops selling anything from jewelry to wind chimes and organic food. Westfield at Horton Plaza on Broadway ...
San Diego und SeaWorld
... heißt trotzdem so - ähnlich wie die Harald Schmidt Show auch mit Oliver Pocher so hieß...). Das ganze war sehr unterhaltend und zeigt einem sehr gut, zu was diese Tiere fähig und wir groß und erhaben sie sind. Die Aufmachung war sehr gut, die Musik auch und die Trainer haben den Eindruck hinterlassen, mit diesen Tieren auf Du und Du zu sein, ihnen ihr Leben anzuvertrauen.
Die nächste Show, war wohl für uns beide die größte Überraschung des Parks. ...

Right next to Miniland USA is Star Wars display!! There was a big Chewbacca, and R2D2, as well as Darth Vader. Plus a scene from each of the movies, including clones wars. ...
