Today we got up early, had breakfast at Isabel's house and were in Barão de Cocais for a workshop by 9am... a great bunch of teachers and we had a fun with them.
Tod gave a really nice talk, and we ended with a few activities.
The drive back was spectacular.

She put the glass container ontop of a frozen packet of meat and it slipped off, opened the freezer door and smashed on the floor :( Everyone was devastated, but we still managed to salvage a little bit of it and it was delicious. I just wished there was more.
... in Brasil I also needed to take my blanket which had to fit into my little bag. I had no idea what to take. I ended up deciding on my camera, some undies a few spare pairs of clothes and that pretty much settled it. I was going to take my lonely planet book but it had practically nothing on brasilia. It summarised it as a well designed city, but also a terribly poorly designed city at the same time.

It was Belo Horizonte's 117th birthday today! I had work in the morning today, but finished at 12. I had made plans with Deborah last night to go to Lagoa da Pampulha, to go and see the main tourist sights in BH that I was still yet to see. It only took me 3 months to get there. Shame on me, poor form Matt.
After work, i headed to the bus stop near my house and jumped on the 45 minute bus to get me to Pampulha (pretty far north of the city). ...
... I still had to run though; luckily the airport was small. When I got to my gate they had already started boarding. How I managed this is beyond me, but anyway.
