Today we left Oceanside for the big city of San Diego and our last stop down the West Coast. We had to change our hire car on the way so we now have a Hyundai Sonata for the rest of the car journey. We completed 3,593 miles (5782.4 km) in the Ford Fusion, good effort we think!

After a week of beach hopping its now time to get adventurous and lap up all that San Diego has to offer, and maybe even squeeze in a trip over the border to Mexico.

Well, now we are back to our regular lives. It happens so quickly it is hard to believe that just yesterday morning we were sailing, laying on the beach and relaxing in the pool in Cancun. But being home really does make you appreciate and realize just how awesome vacations are. I included a couple pictures of our last hours at the resort. It was a good time.

Not to get all philosophical and poetic, but this trip made me ...
