I would love to walk along the beach and pier in the warm breeze all evening. I'd meet many fishermen and their young families fishing off the pier and catching all sorts of fish and crabs. So the next day I shopped at the local ...

... degrees F where we live), and drove up the coast through Laguna Beach up to Dana Point. There was a hint of marine layer and therefore a little humidity and haziness, but the ocean was beutiful. Clearly a lot of people had been at the beach, and many still were as we drove by. We didn't get out, but just enjoyed the drive. Once we got to Dana Point, we headed inland to drive back home. It was a very nice time.

They decided not to take us to the normal beach that we go to in San Clemente, which is T Street, but instead this time they took us to Riviera Beach. This was a great little spot with not a ton of tourist traffic. As Shelley said it is the place where the locals go, but unfortunately you run into a bunch of ...

... the border was quick and simple and the next bus left quite promptly. However, this journey was slowed by the first few miles being covered at an average speed of 2 miles per hour. We eventually got to Santa Ana mid afternoon and after a hard slog with the bags in the fierce sun we found Casa Frolaz. What a gorgeous place, a lovely house with a cool garden and very generous owner, Javier. We had ...

... the class. I took Japanese for three straight years hoping to go but for some reason or another they never went. Finally I decided to forgo taking Japanese my senior year in favor of another elective class. You can imagine my disappointment when the classes decided to go to Japan late that year. It's okay though, I'm going now and it's without chaperones! It's going to be a great stop on the way to the Philippines.
