The last hurdle in making this trip a reality for me was overcome today. I secured my visa to Japan! Being a Filipino citizen, I have to jump through a few extra hoops when traveling abroad to most countries compared to a U.S. citizen. This mostly involves bribes and sexual favors but I believe it's worth it to travel. I really have not had too much trouble securing visas overall, it's just a hassle that I could do ...

If you've ever seen the recent popular american tv show ''The OC'', this place looks exactly like the beach side in many of the scenes. Many popular surf shops nearby like Billabong and Hurley, a long peir streching out over the water with restaurants and stores on the end, expensive parkinglots close to the shore, tonnes of people tanning surfing and playing in the sand, and large sidewalks on the beach to walk, skateboard, jog, bike and inline skate on.
