San Diego best�r af mange "beaches", vi bor i Pacific Beach, ved siden af ligger Mission Beach og lidt l�ngere nede ligger Ocean Beach. En mandag eftermiddag en times tid f�r solnedgang var vi nede at se "Sunset Cliffs", der best�r af utrolige klippeformateringer ud mod Stillehavet, hvor man kan se solen g� ned i havet. ... this forever. There are massive rocks as well as vast dry flat plains dotted with Joshua Trees. There are rock climbers for Elwood to take inspiration from. There is a small track and Elwood leads us through it – delighted to be exploring. When we head back to the car, even Elwood does not moan. We are baking hot.

... moguls. My tip caught a mogul and I fell. UGH. Get up! Get up! Someone could run me over if I lingered too long. Ride! Dig your edges in the snow! I completely miss a mogul and ran right over it! I was in the air for a good second which was enough to freak me out but SWEESH! I landed the jump! I was so ecstatic I missed another mogul then SPLAT! I fell right on my ass and tumbled down a few feet. I quickly got up and rode the rest of the mogul ...
