    ... now far enough along in mileage that groups are starting to mesh and separate. You lose familiar faces, learn new ones, and then they are gone just as soon.     ... some large sections of the vinyl roof off and we had taken in quite a bit of water. The news was not good. Mac has been written off – it would cost way more to repair than it was worth so we now wait for an offer from the insurance
    company to agree on the pay out and hope we can make it back to Boston without encountering any rain clouds! Life is certainly never dull!

    Back home and we headed for a visit to lay flowers at Grandma ...

    ... been in the 100's and it doesn't look like it will cool down anytime soon. I am glad that I took advantage of San Clemente this summer.
