Everything has greened up beautifully here in Texas, with all the spring showers. The wild flowers blanket the roadsides in blue, yellow, red and pink. We had a nice Easter, went to Brunch at the Alsace Hotel up the road. It was pretty darned good and I ate too much, of course. Naturally, I had to take a nap to help digest brunch. The campground was called "Top of the Hill", and it was--on top of the hill. To get to the top we had to traverse a 12% grade thru a narrow gap on a dirt road. Once up the hill we had a nice level spot that was very windy and the ...

... so badly that we had to rebook & arrived 10 hours later. The skies are clearing now so hopefully we will get out just 30 minutes behind schedule. If it happens that way, then we should make our connection in Chicago. Send up a prayer for us.
