    ... all the usual big animals, tiger, lion, giraffes, elephants, lots of birds. The layout of the park is something to see. There is a canyon right in the middle of it. It was a great time at the San Diego Zoo. We drove through Balboa Park as we left but didn't stop...it was rush hour and time to get home...hope to return there. Picked up some dinner and collapsed when we got home. So glad we saw the zoo. We will not forget ...

    ... is better wrapped in bacon. When the burrito came I was further shocked to see that it was the size of my forearm....literally. Estefania let me know that this was no burrito...there was no -ito involved....it was a straight up burro! We dug in quickly, and all conversation was replaced by glottal animal noises. 20min and 2 near heart-attacks later we rolled ourselves out the door.

    ... which we thought was pretty stupid, we had breakfast with Shamu booked for 10:30am. Once we were eventually let in we made our way over where we had a full buffet breakfast and got to watch the whales performing only meters away from us after brekkie we went to the stadium to watch the whale show where the people in the seats up front got absolutely drenched by the whales, it was so funny, I'm glad we were sitting right up the top away from it all.
