    ... to last around 35 mins and would help us get our bearings around the park. Despite the damp weather, we sat upstairs on the open top bus. Just as that, the rain started! :-( oh well, we had come armed with our Pac-a-Macs so we were sorted! The zoo was fantastic, really getting close to the elephants, pandas, koalas, gorillas and snakes. Not sure how I felt about seeing the snakes eating large rats during feeding time, we couldn't stop ...

    ... it was closed and the woman in the shop informed us the owner sometimes opens at 2, sometimes 3, sometimes not at all, whatever he feels like! On the way back got chatting to an old man who gave us a tip for a little blues bar tonight and a Mexican restaurant. Spent an hour or so by the roof top pool drinking our complementary cocktail.
