Estefania let me know that this was no burrito...there was no -ito was a straight up burro! We dug in quickly, and all conversation was replaced by glottal animal noises. 20min and 2 near heart-attacks later we rolled ourselves out the door.

It is 6:30pm and we are just leaving the dock, ninety minutes past our sailing time. My cabin is low and aft and the vibrations here are dramatic. At 6:30 am they began calling all non US passengers to go through immigration. Lots of announcements later they all cleared. By 7:30 am they are all located.

In the meantime the Coast Guard is on board and there is a full fledge crew fire drill done. Since the ship is entering US waters to ...

... or Aussie, but I had no problem hanging out and making friends. Hostel has really good self-sanctioned tours of Ha Long Bay (one of the most fun excursions I have ever gone on), Sapa Valley, and a nearby snake village. The owners and Kiwi and Aussie and moved there just because they loved the place and like to have fun. The prices were amazing. A bed was six dollars a night and a big bottle of water or beer was something like a dollar. The owners have connections to ...
