Ok, can we just stop for a sec and appreciate the fact that JESS IS IN BRAZIL!? It's kind of bittersweet, though, because, although I have a five hour layover, I can't leave the airport and see Brazil because I didn't buy the visa because, ha $160 for five hours? Mm, no. Especially because in August, Americans are no longer required to have visas to go to Brazil, as the US is taking away the requirement for Brazilians. So I'll get my Brazilian adventure some day. ... big dinner. In the Evening we went to a hotel called the Unique Hotel, built in the shape of an old ship with a bar on the rooftop called sky bar. It was a lot like the standard we went to in LA, similar expensive prices too. It did have a fantastic view thought of the sky line at night, a beautiful pool and fancy seating. We had cocktails and pizza and stayed a few hours before heading back home. On to rio ...

... me for the evening to do an apparently very typical Paulista sunday night stuff : pizza :) It was probably the most expensive pizza I ever had. Thank God I was invited ! Yes. Sao Paulo is the most unequal city in Brazil, which is the most unequal country in the world. I think that, with what my friend paid that night for me and his 5 other friends, a poor family could live on this for at least a week if not two. It gives me the chills. But that's the world we live ...
