... I got to order my Singapore Sling cocktail which was great. When supper of beef with a pepper sauce, steamed rice and stir fried veggies was delivered, I was offered wine, and visions of my flight to SA came rushing back, i.e. when my order of Riesling fell on deaf ears. This notion was strengthened when I ordered “white wine please, make it a Riesling”. She replied that she will bring that to me later as she only had C************ the trolley. Here we go again, or so ...

Next we headed back into town so we could head out another direction. We quickly stopped for food for the girls. They got ...

The place we have been staying is called 'New Huts' and they have 3 little puppies that live here which we have adopted as our own and also another stray dog which we have named 'happy dog' because all he wants is a bit of love and attention and he is so cute! ( don't worry he doesn't have fleas or rabies, nobody panic) On our last night we wandered down the beach to a restaurant and had a lovely dinner and let off a 'lucky ...

... got a whopping 8% off on one item for a whopping saving of 30 baht. That's about $1 folks. A myriad of street vendors, mostly tailors and clothiers, we're out but the majority of shops were closed. We ducked out of the way of the electricity wires dangling at eye level and eventually found our way back to the beach and then home. When we got back one of the resort workers we have become fond of looked at us quizzically and asked why we went ...
