Taking The Girls To See The Full Moon
Day One
After an 8 hour journey we finally arrived in Koh Samui with Donna, Danni and Emma. Our journey consisted of a boat from Phi Phi to Krabi, a coach to Surat Thani followed by another boat to Koh Samui. The coach journey was the worst part by far - it was so hot on there and it seemed as though the air-con wasn't working. …

Back in the islands again. After 2 months and 4000km through Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos & north Thailand, we are in Koh Samui and it's officially HOLIDAY TIME!!!! Being Christmas we splashed out and flew to Samui from Chiang Mai. It was a toss-up between 2 (yes 2) 12-hour bus journeys via Bangkok, and a 2-hour flight costing about US$125. The flight …

This hotel offers everything that a backpacker needs: a good bed, a CLEAN room and bathroom, clean towels and free wifi at the reception area. Extra's: TV, swimming pool, private terrace, kind staff. Annoyances: noise from airplanes as they fly over when landing, no airco in cheap rooms, rooms across the street from the hotel reception. Good value for money!
