        ... had the opportunity to swim in the beautiful lake. You literally step out of the door of your bungalow and jump in! There are fish in there but they didn't bother us. The water was so refreshing. We the we told to get ready our jungle hike. I had come prepared with long trousers and leech proof socks but we were told that we would be wading in water up to our hips so we would need shorts only and some sturdy shoes.         ... the island), which is largely bush but with some interesting areas of Savannah dotted with paperbark tees. Much of the vegetation is recovering from the tsunami as is the island and its people. A new town was built with Lions Club funding but lies abandoned as does the new school still with its computers and books but now falling into dereliction. The villagers rebut communities next to the sea. The tour was splendid in showing the resilience of those still here, living off the sea ...

        ... he was sitting in a tree about 5 feet from our open bathroom ....jumped on our roof ...took bananas from the tree beside our balcony , sat on our balcony to eat them ...then, climbed onto our bathroom half wall, came up to our wall to see us up close (looking terrified)... And left slowly..up the same tree!
        The 3 videos tell the story!!!
        We were kept captive inside our hut for what seemed like forever....well, many minutes! ...

        ... a lot but it was still really hot so everyone sat out. We had a great massage on the beach. Steve's face dropped when the man walked over to do his. It was even funnier when the girl who did mine let" me know he was in fact a ladyboy and loved to massage handsome men. Steve wasn't fully relaxed like I was :). We got the bus to the full moon party at 9.30pm. We thought it was best to go a bit later as Steve wanted to watch ...

        ... up and moved a few stores down where they didn't mind our presence. At this point I'm wondering how long this is going to take with all the delays and confusion so far, but I was hungry so I walked across the street to get some cheap food. There where 3 outdoor food stations, each set up with a number of tables and chairs in front. I browsed the first two station's offerings before settling on a terrible fish curry at the third. All ...
