    ... about 2 kilometres into the national park before being sent back due to the high waters and danger of falling trees. On the bright side we did see a cheeky monkey climbing around in the trees. The grounds of the misty mountain resort where we were staying resembled a beautiful tropical garden with many species of plants, flowers and wildlife.     ... cafe waiting for our food and eventually our train at 9pm. 1st class sleeper here we come (Sounds posh but it's the same as second just in a private room) all being well we will arrive in Bangkok tomorrow morning at about 8am and head to what looks like a fancy boutique hotel.     ... reserved for monks only". When I lifted my head to look for another seat, noticed that everyone round about was smirking, even the monks ha! ha!
    Train arrived on time and we got on board, yuk, yuk, yuk thank goodness for wet wipes. Would not even sit down until the table top and wash basin had been cleaned and this was 1st class. We now know where all the old trains go they do not go to train heaven they must go ...

    ... The name in itself doesn't exactly leave you confident, to me however it was the most enjoyable experience. When I boarded the bunks were already out, an upper which wouldn't be any longer than 190cm nor is it overly wide. The lower is the same length though a bit wider. An adequate mattress, clean sheet, pillow and curtain are all provided.Air conditioned with rotating fans on the ceiling there is ample airflow.
