... luck - just as the event ended, there was a torrential hail storm, which we watched from inside the stadium. The outside areas were reduced to huge swamps; temporary, I am sure.

As we left, sampled funnel cake - bit like the Beignet in New Orleans but less fatty and nicer!

Shuttle to the camp as strong wind stirred up the dust - glad we could retreat ...

That went relatively quick, and nothing too exciting happened. Emily and I went to go get something to eat as we hadn't really ate anything for lunch. ... Phew! However, when we got there they had no record of our booking and no rooms available! Ugh! To make a long story short, it turned out that our booking was for the following evening!
