... eh! Anyway - wonderful day out on a big boat, visited Phi Phi and a few other old haunts - Maya Bay, etc, and 2 dives. Our stop at Phi Phi was another awakening to progress - no more sandy pathway with shops/restaurants and chaos, but now modern/stone path winding all the way along the shoreline. Found a leather bag store - bought awesome bag that will look great when bashed up a bit. The owner makes them all himself and does them to order - beautiful bags/designs/colors. ...

... I'd forgotten to fill in the journal from my sister for a few days so did my best to catch up on this whilst Nicole read. In the evening we'd somehow worked up an appetite again so headed to the accommodation's restaurant. ... in my room and surprise! I have a roommate. It's just me and one other girl on the bottom bunks near the air conditioner. I wanted to take a shower after all that time in the water, and I needed to wash my hair, but my travel towel was completely wet. I wrung it out three times on the trip back and water dripped out each time. The great thing about it though is that it still absorbs water! Despite being soaking wet, it still is able to get more water ...

... paying and the girl looked so distraught at the thought of turning back so we offered to pay for them. It was only about 80p so didn't really matter to us and we had done our good deed for the day. They were so grateful and in return we got them to take some photos of us at the top. The view was postcard perfect, a glorious view of the two main beaches and well worth the trek up. We decided to go down the other way which was much shorter and ...
