Day of temples and miscommunication

A travel blog entry by amelia.dine

... voucher... It was certainly an experience, the poor men trying to convince us we need a suit for work while we are lying left right and centre to try and get out and show him we really don't need his suits!!! Next stop temple 2. This was the Wat Benchamabopitr or the marble temple. It was very pretty but as we wandered around the almost deserted site we couldn't help but think maybe this wasn't one of the safe areas. Jewelry was next here we ...

... found it at 4.30 the next morning. The next day was a grim day. I'm normally sick but this was on another level, retched so much I thought that this was the end and I was actually going to die this time. There was also a stage where people were occasionally singing but it was really out of tune!! Found this happens a lot out here. After a couple of hours at the market, Jack was full and we headed back to the ...

Koh Phi Phi

A travel blog entry by melh89

We got a boat from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi it was packed and we ended up having to sit on the floor but it didn't take too long! It was still a bit cloudy but Koh Phi Phi looked amazing! We were collected from the boat and taken to our hotel which was in between Ton Sai Bay as D Alam Bay two beautiful beaches. It was the first bungalow we have stayed in and it was lovely! There were a few ants in the bathroom but nothing we couldn't cope with! ...
