Well, my time in Zagreb has been as interesting and random as it's been short... Which is fine, Because I don't know what I would do with more time here! But the highlight of my two days here would definitely have to be The museum of broken relationships. I met up with Tim and Lorna, a couple from New Zealand I met in Venice and Ljubljana. And we went To the museum together. Lorna and I enjoyed it.. Poor Tim, not so much. We weren't even half way through when he told us ...

We were surprised to see Ljubisa my uncle and his son, Davor, and Mirna's son Svan waiting at the restaurant and joined later by Edi's wife, Petrice, or as Mak said "more importantly she is my mother". Hopefully the chocolate doesn’t melt too much. They said it would take three weeks to reach its destination, which is a REALLY long time, but I guess it ...

I'm sitting on the plane thinking it's very strange that we're spending so long in the clouds. Suddenly, I see a house and then a few more houses and it dawns on me that I'm a bit of a muppet. We haven't been flying through cloud, the ground is just covered in a blanket of snow- welcome to Croatia! I was expecting the cold, but the amount of snow was a nice surprise. Today's daytime temperature was a tropical 0 degrees and tonight it ...

... where we will be sleeping for the next two nights. The dorm rooms are brightly coloured and we were based in a yellow dorm (yuck!). The temperature in Zagreb today reached a top of 39°C!!! I felt like I was back in Port Headland. We left our bags in the hostel room and left to explore the city. The big cities in Europe are all starting to look the same now, some are more modern then others, but I think the real culture of each ...
