Apparently an elderly woman caused a major fire in the city by having candles in her home around this painting, the candle fell and burnt down half the city but the painting survived, hailed as a miracle, the painting was put in an alter in the gate. The end of May brought with it a holiday weekend, and far be it from us to let an extra day or two go to waste! This time, as the school year was winding down for both of us, we wanted to take a trip that was a little less racing around sightseeing and a little more, I dunno, being stationary.
