Captain Guner selected Orak, which is a small island just off the coast that he says is very popular in summertime. There were still several boats there that came and went during the 24 hours that we were there, plus there was an ice-cream boat that came along and sold ...

The next morning, Sam, Ryan, and Kristy went for a run, and I headed out for a walk in an attempt to get at least a little exercise. I had somehow managed to get a giant blister on my heel, so I couldn't even put my tennis shoes on, so I walked in flip-flops. Big mistake. Afterwards, I had blisters on the tops and back of my feet. We then set off to Bodrum picking up more people from different hotels on the way driving ...

... best beaches at home. I had been warned, but Turkish beaches are really just rubble and rocks at the endure of the water. In essence, it's very pretty from a distance but not great to walk on. So we turned back for our little pier and found a water sports pavilion from where we hired a jet ski. Ben and I took turns taking Mitch and Alex. It was my first time driving on of those machines and I found it pretty heavy ...

... diamonds set in yellow gold which Ben was keen to buy me, but in truth I wasn't in the mood to buy- just to look. (although I do think the chances of my escaping without a fake bag are pretty slim...). In the end, Charley bought a couple of trinkets - not fluffy ones but bracelets, and Mitch and Alex both bought a cool (fake) Adidas crossover bag. We are dinner at a traditional Turkish restaurant specialising in grilled meat. Once again we had the most amazingly tasty ...
