So thats it then.
Had my last 2 hours of work at the Info Centre today. I'm officially free of that place and in a strange way I will miss it! Definately not the tourists who test my patience daily, mainly the team of people I worked with there.
However, only under desperate circumstances can I see myself heading back there next summer.

St Ouens beach-because it´s glorious and empty and has white waves
I´d rate St Helier as OK, not brilliant, tho´we did better this year with a big walk round it and found Howard Davis Park, the covered market, and the jetty. Great eating places tho-Mark Jordan at the Beach, Ormer and Banjo were standouts.
Go, you won´t regret it.
Last day in St Helier - drizzle, drizzle, drizzle. Went for early morning walk had to use an umbrella. Wet but quite warm. woke Dawnie up at around 08:30 and went down for breakfast prior to packing up. Went for my early morning walk as usual. Overcast and quite cool. Explored Green Street Cemetery which was established in 1827.
