I'd like to say that the ship rocked me to sleep and that I slept well, but like I expected, eating late had the reverse effect on me and I woke up about 1:30 and couldn’t go back to sleep. I was awake for the next hour and a half. The alarm went off at 6:30. We met a couple from Cruise Critic in the dining room for breakfast and then took a tender into town for a self-guided walking tour before our reservation at ...

Our early to bed philosophy (for last night, anyway) paid off in dividends today, as we were up with the guernseys, so to speak, at 6:30. After our breakfast of champions, we were off on a tender for shore. It's a short day here in Guernsey with All Aboard at 1:30 pm. Ian was born in Guernsey and has the family of two Aunts still living here. We caught up with all the Brennan family ...

Three days in Guernsey with a day trip to Sark was quite a change from Iceland - both are islands but SO different. We spent time walking around the old town centre & through tiny streets, up & down many steps & along the harbour. Guernsey has masses of flowers frothing over hanging baskets & window boxes of almost every building - so pretty. Visited the Guernsey Tapestry which is 10 embroidered panels - one for ...

My tour left at 7.30 ,a Circle Island one,so all organized early .[.Its a very different lot on this leg of the cruise, not at all the ...
