... they weren't releasing any hatchlings today! The gentleman that runs the place is doing some really good work and diverting turtle eggs from dinner plates as he buy's them all up from the market at a slightly higher price
He took over the hatchery from his father who passed away in the Tsunami along with his Sister, Wife and three children.
A really big storm started to close in after we had finished up and we ...
Best time to travel to Sri Lanka is all over the year depending on your requirement. Example if you want to have some rest in sandy beaches in Westerna and Southern part of coastal belt you would have to come from October to April, if you want such in Eastern coastal belt you have to come in from May to September.

... attended my third kick-boxing aerobics class. I seem to be getting the hang of the kicking bits – so managed to execute a few without falling over. Our teacher is very creative with his floor exercises and this week had us lying around using a Swiss ball for exercises. I have never been good at managing spherical objectives and these Swiss ball things are no exception. Firstly he had us lying on them – our legs lying on them - whilst ...

Kalutara, Sri Lanka freedomgroup... had been affected.
Bentota itself was a nice beach, but mostly aimed at rich people! Tons of big expensive resorts. We sat in one of them to have a drink before heading back to our scummy cheapy. While we ate dinner we were accompanied by 2 whining cats. We tried feeding them a chilli, but that didn't go down well, so we ended up giving them our chicken bones just to keep them quiet!
... just taken another wicket! Optimism was high, with not long before the end of the day we thought they might be able to get them all out by the end of play. But Sri Lanka managed to hold out without losing any more, so we went to watch the sun set and went to find a restaurant for dinner. The next day I said goodbye to my friends and left for the station to get the train back to Colombo where I had managed to book the Galle Face Hotel for my last night. After nearly bankrupting ...
Galle, Sri Lanka alanjaques... It was seriously huge! Rob had seen it the night before in his room and was telling me and Nat about how big it was and of course we laughed at him and told him not to be a drama queen so we were both called upon to witness it. And honestly, it was the size of a cat. Was grateful to find that my huge fear of leeches didn't extend to include rats. Rob on the other hand... Right, will sign off for the moment and try to remember my photos later in the week. Lots of love xxx
