Curaçao

Hot and sunny once more as we docked at the port of Willemstad on the Dutch Attillean Island of Curaçao. After breakfast in the Waterside we disembarked and walked down into the small town. Very pretty town with its pastel coloured building, it's river and the Queen Emma pontoon bridge. Had a look around the town for an hour, mainly looking to buy sun cream. It the ...

... hand.

Overall the snorkelling, while not brilliant, was not horrible. What was disappointing was that as soon as we all started getting out of the water, several men in canoes paddled out and started selling their wares to people on the boat. changed my mind and took a cab for US$3.00. ...

The most common cases though are definitely strokes and asthma attacks. There's even a special asthma bay for all the nebulised ventolin they have to give. Getting tired now and have to be back in the hospital again early tomorrow morning, so will have to cut my ramblings short. ...

... island, I can't recommend this tour. If you're looking to learn to use a segway, I can recommend this though as by the end we were all able to go very fast up and down inclines and make relatively sharp turns.

I had a little more time before dark to go explore. I headed towards Castries, but got sidetracked by a sign for a heritage house. The house is up a hill hidden away, but has a nice view ...
