... the top, the views opened up and mountains and valleys stretched as far as we could see. Apparently the building here now is a recreation of the original. Outer buildings and parade grounds no longer exist. This is all due to the might of the RAF who bombed the mountain to oblivion! Not much is mentioned about this aspect of the site. ... of it on Pinterest, so I was dying to see it ever since she sent it to me, as well as get a picture of the hut. Unfortunately there was a very rude German family who would not get off the bridge in front of the hut, so that people could get a picture of the hut by itself with the crystal clear water and Alps in the background. We stayed there all of 30 minutes, and they did not budge! After working up some courage, I went and tried to ask the family if ...

The train ride from Vienna was breathtaking as we traveled through a gorgeous valley surrounded by striking mountains. Zell Am See is a beautiful town on a lake in the valley. We were so happy to see such gorgeous mountains and get out of the city even for just a day. We spent our entire time in awe of Mother ...
