Mealy in the Mist
... awkward plastic chairs I attempt to sleep upwards, as I have done in the past. At 8am on the DOT we jump in a cab and head to Buffalo Hostel Downtown. The lady on reception, Jessica, is lovely! She's so happy and friendly! Thank god our dorms available and we head straight upstairs for a much needed nap... Zzzzz... 3 hours later we wake up and head downtown Buffalo to see what's about. FYI, Buffalo doesn't have much to offer other ...
Don't Dream It's Over

1) Always bring a jumper - that a/c might be awesome when you first walk into the museum, but after an hour you'll be freezing
2) Don't be afraid to walk - you might see something you've never seen before
3) If you're by yourself write a diary or blog, it will make you fell less alone and stave off insanity
4) Always bring your camera with you, even when you're just going to get stamps
5) Don't talk to hobos, bible bashers or "save the children" ...
Overnight with a view
I must admit I didn't spend much time in Buffalo, as it was just a place where we spent the night during our weekend at the Niagara Falls. The Hotel was great anyway: probably one of the best beds I've ever slept in! It's not in the town centre (closer to Lake Erie) but from the windows, I got a great view of the town. Great value for your money!

More imigration problems
... We gave our passports at the check point, and were told we would be escorted to imigration, and the car taken!! Bit scarey really as these two gun clad cops came either side of the car, took the car keys and told us to get out - no humour!! They were very stern and told us to go with them to a nearby building - they treated us as if we were going to make a run for it (has anyone ever seen me run!!!) We went to the second floor - oh ...
