      ... Downs where we stayed with our Brisbane friends (Lionel & Margaret ) on the way North

      We will drive to Brisbane on Wednesday and then park the car for 3 weeks while in Perth

      We are both looking for ward to seeing the children and grandchildren (have found out that Nicola, Adam and the girls from Melbourne will also be in Perth at the same time - great news)

      Hope your all stay well and we will be in contact again in about 6 weeks

      ... car and heading back to Noosa. We stopped off in the Noosa Civic for about half an hour on the way back to the house, when we got back we had a text from Drue regarding our job asking us to be in Coolum on Tuesday morning for an 8am start! We can't wait to get started, we are really excited. We had a really quiet evening, we kicked back in the lounge, ordered a take away Chinese and enjoyed a couple of beers before calling it a day. ...

      ... a better long prayer, and an early night to bed won't sure. in all fairness, they have been amazing and continue to be, they just needed a bit of an adjustment. Tonight is a bit of quiet time for me ... I sense that the Australians don't have the same spiritual sense around Easter that we do, so I really missed celebrating the Good Friday service and the real meaning of today and am making time for that tonight. ...

      ... the cent rather than the dollar (155 cents for 1 liter of gas!), getting the low down on where we can find the kangaroos hanging out on campus, and overall awe that we were actually on a different continent and in Australia after months of preparation. Once we arrived at our apartments we checked in and got our keys, agreeing to meet back with the group from our shuttle ride over about 2 hours later to adventure out to a Supermarket and get lunch.       Thurs. the 9th we went to the Alma park zoo. Lot of
      little animals i've never seen before ( lemurs, several differnet kangaroos that
      we could pet, the Emperor Tamarin, red panda,and a petting area for kids,with
      goats, cows, sheep and llama. My favorite was the Koalas !!
      A trip to the local mall for some
      lunch.
