I'll just start by saying today didn't go quite as expected. I made the 3 hour drive from Boise to Riggins, Idaho without a problem. Riggins is a little town at the junction of the Salmon River and Little Salmon River, in the panhandle of Idaho and near the Oregon state line. It's also situated within the slopes of the Nez Perce National Forest. …

Woke to a beautiful day… and the sound of the Little Salmon River! After eating our breakfast outside, I did a bit of work for WW on my computer, then we were ready to head out for the day.

We drove thru town - took about 1.5 minutes, LOL! Someone at the RV park mentioned the Seven Devils Road. So, we ...

So we were invited to go to a town event in one of the cutest little towns in America! This sweet town of 102 had their annual end of the school year party and invites neighboring small towns to be a part... Their little school (public) has 5 students. It was so, so sweet! My brother-n-law played with his band and the kids ran and played in the valley of Hell's Canyon (I know terrible name, but I guess it gets pretty hot ...

... said they might send us postcards but as postcards are hard to find that wouldn't happen. The steelhead season opens today but we don't see anyone out.
David drove again as it was a short day. There was minimal road work and light traffic so it was a nice drive even if it was somewhat moutainous and winding.
It is good to know that Tyr will protect us from the dreaded UPS truck where ever we are.
