    ... of the walk was the El Perdon Mountain Range Monument, a bronze pilgrim procession named 'Where the route of the wind crosses that of the stars'. It was mesmerizing.     Hola Amigos! We made it 25km today to Puenta La Reina! We left Pamplona at 6am because we heard it would be a 38c hot day.. The highlight of the day was getting to the top of the mountain with the giant wind turbines and the giant metal pilgrams!     Well we made 24 kms... no back packs ... lots of water and it was 36 degrees. We came around the corner of the town we are staying in to find our sanctuary right there!     This was another awesome day of spectacular scenery.

    We started out by following the route de fromage which features farms which sell the Ossau Iraty cheese. Unfortunately the ones we found were closed or so well hidden, that we never got to taste this famous cheese.
