... our magazines, dipping in the water then all of a sudden the monsoon arrived. Within seconds the rain was lashing down and the wind had picked up. We went to a restaurant close by for a drink until it passed. It was great to watch whilst we were inside, I love storms. ... everyone who has had a good leg day at the gym knows that feeling all too well). I'll give it a couple of days before the full 5 hour day! Although I did like the gym option, I was the only girl in there!!! The street I am staying is pretty quiet so far so i need to start hitting up some of the long termers to see how social it is around here, hoping that everyone is not staying in and being on a strict diet! ... good. The snorkel trip was so much fun and we had a really food group too. We headed off on a longtail boat and they gave us flippers and snorkels. The first spot we went in the sea was really choppy and i struggled to swim a bit. The guide held my hand and took me to see really amazing things under the sea. ... shophouses are amazing. Some tiny old printing shops are there. There are private & public museums & the town authority has also carefully preserved a mini ex red light district. During our strolls we were delighted to see some spectacular mansions built on Sino-Portuguese architecture.
