Here the hot springs, erupting geysers and bubbling pools of boiling mud dominate a fascinating landscape. We take the Hakone rope way from Sounzan down to Togendai on lake Ashinoko. We take a boat journey around the lake which is a water filled volcanic crater with a circumference of 18K. We are now making our way to Tokyo by ...

Last night at the Hilton we were on futons and we all agreed this morning that we may as well have lied on a duvet on the floor because that's pretty much all it was. We were doing the Hakone ...

... yesterday maybe if i take my speed racer up the mountain I can get a better shot, for the next 3 hours I ascend up the slope, after the first hour my legs are complete rubber, i can no longer feel them, every push with the pedal is a complete battle, grab a drink out of my basket and spot a golf course another 1.5km away, that was the longest 1.5km of my life, I cant make it anymore up this mountain and the clouds are not going away, so i watch ...
