... getting slightly miserable with the weather literally pelting it down that our guide decided to call it a day and head back to camp. We spent the afternoon playing cards, reading and trying to stay warm and dry before me and the girls cooked up a big spag bol for the group. ... unable to put any weight on it! I felt and still do feel really sorry for her as not only did she not want to play it, but she was travelling on her own, would be unable to do the trek to the Cooloola sand patch tomorrow if she was still unable to walk on it and she had previously hurt it before so it was weak already and I think she may have done some serious damage to it- defiantly something she did not want to happen to her!

Hejsan hallå! Så kul att höra lite från er :) Vi uppskattar alla inlägg vi får, skoj skoj! Vi är nu i Noosa, där Helena tidigare jobbade som busschaffis! Vi bor dock på ett annat ställe, men det ligger stranden brevid sunshine beach. Vackert! På vägen hit stannade vi till på Australia Zoo (steve irwins ställe) där vi såg en massa djur, bland annat fick vi klappa ...

I no longer doubt Greek Mythology. There is a simple explanation why the ocean has such an bewitching effect on me: like Aphrodite, we were all born from the waves or the foam created by the waves smashing on the rocks.

I wish I could sit here forever, just listening to the sound of the waves.

From our stop at Australia Zoo, it was only another 40kms to Noosa. We had heard only good things about this popular holiday destination and were really keen to check it out for ourselves.
