Från paradiset till "helvetet"
... tog ut lite extra Ariary i en bankomat och åt en god middag på Plantation, innan vi tog en taxi ut till hotellet som vår transportman och fixare Mr Ceasaire letat upp åt oss. Vid det laget var det helt mörkt ute och längs Hell-Villes gator åts middagar till levande ljus.
Vår ursprungliga plan var att bege oss till Andilana beach, den nordligaste och minst utbygda av öns stränder, men om man vill ut och dyka hjälper det förstås att befinna sig ...
First stage complete!!
... then sprinting several laps of ******* Jo'berg airport trying to get luggage sorted out but in the end gave up and hoped it would appear in Cape Town which it did on the last flight!! But finally I coudl relax and enjoy a week with a bit more luxury with mum doing the garden route! I will go into more detail on the garden route next time as I have two minutes left so I've got to love you and leave you!! Enjoy Eng and don't get too cold! :P xx

A Terrible Day
Everyone probably deserves an explanation for our lack of updates and contact. Those who are Facebook friends already know, but for the rest here goes. Apologies if the language is not perfect....
On Wednesday the 3rd of November, Bruce T Barnes, loving father to Rhiannon and all round knock about guy, unfortunately passed away. May he Rest In Peace.

Treehouses by the Sand

A Hike for a Tortoise
... we made our way south into the interior following the ridgelines on tracks that led through increasing amounts of vegetation. Not much in the way of wildlife, but plenty of different plants and enough of a walk to build up a decent sweat. It was then we made that decision I spoke of earlier.
