      ... that was shown on our map, but all we found were a set of mostly deserted exhibition halls and a small Greek book fair. I think funfair lost something in translation.

      We wandered back towards the port area, enjoying watching the sun over the Aegean, and when we got to Aristotle Square and saw the the Electra Palace hotel, I remembered reading in a newspaper travel article that non-residents could drink in the rooftop garden coffee bar and get a wonderful view of the sea.       ... excitement and long awaited hugs, we all returned to the ''mansion'' for a hugeeee breakfast on the balcony and later decided to head off to explore the area! We drove up one of the mountains nearby and at first it was thick with chestnut trees! Literally everywhere you looked, tons of them...and massive too!
