      ... excitement and long awaited hugs, we all returned to the ''mansion'' for a hugeeee breakfast on the balcony and later decided to head off to explore the area! We drove up one of the mountains nearby and at first it was thick with chestnut trees! Literally everywhere you looked, tons of them...and massive too! We later bought some and roasted them on the fire :-) . Higher in the mountains we stumbled across the most random thing! We stopped just to look at an old church ...

      ... poolside. Not a particularly exciting day but the port was ok. We are done with the three destinations given to us for missing Israel and I can tell you that they didn't come close to either Israel or, for that matter, Egypt which was what made this segment of the trip so interesting.

      ... of bread and olives. Around every corner there is always an interesting statue, or a quaint coffee shop to sit in. One of my favourite memories is being there in the late evening, having a Sprite outside a restaurant, listening to the sound of chatter and music, and looking at the grandeur of the Acropolis above, lit yellow in floodlights.
