... Went to Peggy's Cove on the south shore on the 8th. It's a beautiful place with a very rocky coast. It's the most photographed place in the mid Atlantic provinces and is swarming with tourists, us included. The year round population here is 35. It's also the spot where Swissair flight 111 went down in 1998 five miles offshore with no survivors. There was a memorial there but gave no details of ...

Ottawanians could learn ...

A twenty minute drive got us to Kennebunk and Kennebunkport which are on opposite sides of the Kennebunk River, try saying that after a couple of wines!! Nice little town but the usual touristy shops which are easy to zip through. We then filed onto a boat for a cruise ...

... of the tour and a chance to sit down for a beer and people watching. Graham then limping off to the boat and Karen doing some unhindered shopping. The city of Boston is alive with bars, shops and restaurants and we agreed that we need to come back again to spend a few days enjoying the lifestyle. Today we have berthed in Newport, Rhode Island and tonight we commence packing to finish our cruise tomorrow morning in New ...
