We had a fabulous day today, Didi found a couple of her ancestors headstones in the Buzy cemetery and had a stroll around town taking photo's, we then left Buzy and had a lovely scenic drive to Eysus where our next 3 months will be spent, we were most fortunate, there were an Australian couple staying there and they showed us around and gave us a fair bit of ...

Breakfast at the hotel this morning. Was able to order some scrambled eggs - I'm positive they cooked them in cream. They also serve cheesecake for breakfast as part of the buffet!! I can't believe how cold it is - it's about 8deg at the moment and raining. After lunch we travelled to Lourdes to the Hotel Grotte for the night. ...

So many apartments on the road in. Can't imagine living with a family ...

... great and our room looks across to the original fort which guarded the area hundreds of years ago. Lourdes itself looks lovely although unsurprisingly now very commercialised. Looking forward now to going out for a walk with Peter, back for a meal and then off to join the procession to the Grotto at 9pm. Well, had our walk, inspiring place for all the souvenir shops and commercialism. Huge open spaces with every way possible for pilgrims and tourists ...
