... cool though. It's like my dream bookstore. I'm glad I didn't live in Paris or I would've had less money than I had in Nantes. I wish I could get a job there, then I would happily live in Paris the rest of my life. Soon we all felt tired so we headed back to the hotel to rest. Then we wandered around to find dinner and we ended up at the same place we ate breakfast at. It was still pretty good though so it was a good choice. After dinner we went home and went to sleep.
Paris, Île-de-France, France mamakarpus... Sauvignon from the left bank of the Bordeaux region. At the time of writing - it is sensational. At the earlier supermarket I bought some supplies and subsequently cooked up dinner. I did two courses - some chicken vermicelli soup followed by spaghetti bolognaise (for Malani and Jack) and for the rest of us the soup plus Ravioli for main course. We had toast with the spaghetti and ravioli - and I fed us all for the grand sum of 4 euro. Today is cheap day - so we ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France masonsineurope... got kind of a late start that day, so we walked around a little and headed back. The next day we left a little earlier and went to the Louvre. The Louvre was amazing there is something there for everyone. You need an entire day if not a couple of days to see everything. We didn't have that much time, so we skipped everything we thought we could do without seeing. We still didn't have enough time to see everything we wanted to. We really ...
Paris, Île-de-France, France chadpotter... of stars over the second observation deck. On the hour, she becomes the envy of all else in Paris as hundreds of strobe lights flash and blink and sparkle for about 10 minutes. Yes, it was impressive. We walked back to the hotel and then keeled over in bed. Pure exhaustion took over and I slept well until my body said it was time to get up at 3 am. I managed to catch a little more sleep, but its gonna be a tough day.
Paris, France blanchedubois... to terminal one, and while all the information for my flight was listed, I could not figure out where check in was. Turns out I couldn't check in until noon, so I sat and read for a while, as well as tried to spend my last euros. By the time I boarded the airplane, I really wanted to sleep, but I was trying my hardest to stay awake until I got home. While I ended up with a great seat on the aisle behind first class ...
Paris, France lkbphmd... to the Eiffel Tower than we plan on being tomorrow, let's go". At the time it made sense, a short inch and a half on the map then home. Getting to the Arc was easy, but the mental and emotional exhaustion as well as the physical fatigue got me down. I ate an apple and felt a bit better. And so we decided to climb some 287 steps to the top of the arch.
Paris, France kos.theory... garden which is just behind our hotel sully, which mum and kell will remember. Kris and i also enjoyed a meal in a restaurant on the edge of the place de voges i had a few wines a a yummy pouley roti, which is like a roast chicken on vegies and a lovely hite wine sauce i think, followed by a framboise(rasberry) tart mmmmmmm. My favourite places so far would have to have been the gardens of versaille and rodins museum and gardens, we have been lucky enough to have sunny days; ciao for now
Paris, France rhibeez... early, making allowances for any possible problems that might arise. At the station we waited impatiently while a couple of young backpackers tried to figure out which type of ticket they needed. They spoke no French and the attendant spoke no English so they were obviously going to be there for some time. I walked swiftly to the main ticket counter half a kilometre away and did my usual routine (you know, charm and fluency, etc.) while asking ...
Paris, France cullism... then to the Tracadero where we ate. We enjoyed the view from there of the Eiffel tower. We also enjoyed the crowds on the Tracadero, especially the guy roller skating!
