... kind of refreshing and reminded me of home. So then we headed home for a chill out before dinner. We wanted cheese fondue again, so we just did it :) might as well, only in Switzerland once! Even if eating out is expensive, it's not everyday I get to see Sujata too. So it was nice. Although I think the franc is better against the euro than it is against the Australian dollar... so that's a plus for me. Although that night I felt sooo incredibly sick. Too ...

... was going to be expensive, but I had no idea how expensive. Fish and Chips for 33 francs ( about $40) and everything else from burgers to pasta at least 23 francs. Finally I ended up at the grocery store, where I was able to buy a pasta salad, a giant soft pretzel, an iced tea and a Swiss chocolate bar, all for 7 francs!

I spent the night in my hostel room talking with the two Dutch girls in my room.

Annecy is a very mixed town, full of apartments, offices and many other things. Many of the people did not speak English very well because it's a small town. The town is built on waterways and it backs up to the Alps. The atmosphere in the old town is superb as typically French food shops merge seamlessly with designer stores, souvenir shops and every kind of bar/restaurant imaginable.
