      ... I think we all needed to hear what she had to say as most of us had just found out that we had been rejected from the DOS for internships this summer (but more on that later). Of course, we swarmed her after the talk was over to ask her more questions, and she was very forthcoming. There are some pictures up on Facebook that I am tagged (proof!).

      ... macaroons! I finally caved in and bought a hat to keep my head warm - it's just too cold here! I was tickled pink to see the city come alive with decorations for the holidays :-) It's the most wonderful time of the year!

It was also a chance for students to learn about and join the “associations.” Student associations here in France resemble our Greek life more than our student clubs in the US.       ... the hotel it was a relief to get in to our room. After a 90 minute nap, we're ready to go again!       ... I did smell the entire meal. But apart from the most pungent cheese I have ever smelled in my entire life, the ride was great.
      Once we finally got into Geneva, we grabbed our bags and started to look for the best route to our hotel which was about a mile from the Switzerland border. Note to all those traveling to Switzerland, staying in France is MUCH cheaper then in Geneva. We knew that there was a metro that would get us close to the hotel and ...
